Musings
I just watched a very emo movie. So yep. Set me thinking.
Then midway I receive a sms. I know the person who sent me the sms will read my blog, so yep I'm replying here. I've told you many a time, I don't like to impose my ideas on people. And I don't like people who impose ideas on others. I'm telling you now, STOP IT.
This is not the first time I'm telling you. But I hope it's the last.
Anyway, I don't know if your sms is meant to bounce off ideas or what. But I intepret some parts as accusative. Not only towards me, but also others. MY reply to you is, before you say anything about people, do a self-reflection. If you truly can do what you say, den I wun be so qi.
And for the last time, people do things differently. Treat things differently. I'm sorry if you cannot see things my way, or accept the way I do things. If I see someone done in ways that I may think it's wrong, I wun correct or voice it out unless it's ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
If you can't live with it, voice it out yourself. I'm sorry if you tot I can be your mouthpiece. I'm not. If that something is so worth voicing it out, and setting yourself right smack into the politics, den voice it out yourself. I dun voice things out just because you say it. I told you before, but I think it slipped through ur mind. I will only say things that I agree with. But seriously, after knowing you for so long, I don't feel you have that bit of respect of me as a person. And seriously respect is earned, and it's two-way thing. If you have that sort of basic respect as a friend, what's more?
Ask yourself whether friends should treat friends like that. Ask yourself first before talking to me. What do you really think of me? A friend? Or a tool? Frankly, I've treated you with respect...But have you been doing so? Seriously no.
Think before you talk to me.
Family isn't about looking down at people, or trying to manipulate them in ways. Family is about accepting people as how they are, no matter how good or bad they are. Accepting their flaws and strengths, treating them as equals and supporting them. No matter how they fail, support them. Help them grow. Prevent the flaws from becoming lethal. Talk to them. Support them even if the world doesn't supprt them. Talk to them about their flaws, reminding them *even if they don't listen*

Main Comm Trip @ Pelepah
I just saw main comm photos posted on facebook..So might as well post about Pelepah main comm trip. We went there about 2 weeks before recess weeks, to our beloved and very-much-missed Pelepah. The place never fails to amaze me. The first few times I went, it was a challenge. This last time I went, it was less of a challenge, but still v fun to climb.
I didn't know of the little small pool where main comm gathered to play and take photos. Almost everyone had a photo taken in the water, where the water splashed onto them. *except me n ck* Stupid HAZEL flow down the water and crashed into me when I was taking it! That's why got me n her. Her feet is stepping on my hands, and I was supporting her weight to take this somewhat decent photo!
I see siying's and weisi's faces, I want to tu...Must they look so SHUANG!!
Our beloved V-gorge is covered with dead falls *look at Shunzhang's blog if you haven seen it*. HOrrible..I still remember Yali peeing in that jacuzzi-like jplace at the mouth of the V-gorge. Stupid trees. Now it's so muddy and clustered.
This time we camped at the top of Pelepah. The white, sandy place. It's like a place out of heavens. So different from the surrounding greenery. The sky wasn't v clear, so no stars-gazing lol. But we had a mini-lantern festival celebration there. *ahem* actually it's more of a lantern-burning festival there. Stupid Jovin IS DAMN TALL!! He goes around burning other people's lanterns and in the end, we had a mini-campfire. Then xuanjie and Chongyew got some cavemen syndrome, and started finding firewood to burn ever since. It's a primitive scene. The others, girls mostly, staying around the fire and watching it burn, mesmerized (or izzit lazy to move). The guys collecting firewood. Xuanjie could have burnt the entire Pelepah down, if we never stop him.

Berkelah Trip
Last weekend just went Berkelah with Ad sports and ATC...V fun...Berk is less slippery than my previous one tho. ANd this time, I jumped from the rock into the water! Cos siying they all promise to rescue me. Actually is Ah Gong pulled me to the rock and jumped in with me. He see I can trap water den okay let me go. But I forget to tell him, I can't trap water for lONG!! Haha but i was already rescued by the rope le...So yep.
Ad sports is damn siao siao one. Siying and Esther lo. Two siao kias with alot more siao kia kias.
Sometimes I will deflect to ATC lao rens. On the bus back to SG, I got to know the ATC girls better. One of them is from CS lo...So surprising. Another CS addition to ODAC, I hope. Her art is damn zai anyway.
I enjoyed this trip. Because of the company, because of their crappiness. Ad sports always come up with some wacky stuff...spit water out of their mouths..waulau...Disgusting...*check out facebook if you haven seen the video* But like last year I always enjoy the first trip the most. Dunno y. When I feel old, I will deflect to the lao rens at ATC. Quite a good balance. Just little interaction between the two groups ba. For the first night, I can't tahan my headache so I went to sleep early. Me, Shu Hong, Yong Han had a chat at the rocks while watching the stars. The view is superb. Clear sky...Miss it...
This trip set me thinking about a few things. At least what Esther said on the bus journey back set me thinking. We were talking about some serious topics lah actually. Esther said something about family spirit. What's ODAC family spirit about when all we always do is to focus on others' mistakes and not what they achieve out of the mistakes or what good they did? Nice. Didn't expect that from Esther. Let me gua mu xiang kan oh. True. If ODAC's culture is to gossip, then how are we considered a family?
Gossip is a way to get people talking..get news disseminated..bounce off ideas. The problem is we keep dwelling on the same issues over n over. If something positive is gotten out of the gossiping and made to improve, it serves the purpose of family ba. If not like what she said, we're family because we only stick around with people we are comfortable with, people we uniquely deem as family.

Hihi...
Jean & Sishan just told me my blog is collecting cobwebs so here i am...back again..
I just watched Mama Mia a few days ago. When I saw Meryl Streep being the lead, I was alittle apprehensive. Can she even sing? *seriously I dunno her well* Then when I watch it. (actually more of listening to it) Her voice is soso. She can sing pretty well, TO MY SURPRISE. BUT THE OMG THING IS THE EMOTIONS SHE PUT INTO IT. SUPERB! *THUMBSUP*
The plot is very simple. The bride wants to find his father, so she invited 3 possible candidates from her mom's past, without her mom knowing it. Then it started all tis singing and dancing. I have a soft spot for musicals, and this is WOW! Listen to this song...
I have a dream..Very nice...
And I found this video...I'm so gonna buy the soundtrack or the DVD when it comes out...OMG...MAMAMIA...

I love Winner takes it all..Very apt how they blend it into the story. The lyrics mean something in the story. If you watch it, look out for the setting. It's so beautiful I wanna go Greece. At least I think it's in Greece. It's my movie of the year. Is it yours?
