Wanlin's B'day Celebration (cum "matchmake" session)
Okay, I admit it's a flop.
First, I can't find the richotti place. Someone recommend the cakes there, but we walked one round around Clarke Quay also can't find it. Maybe we're on the wrong side of the river. WTH is Just Steak!?! In the end, we settled at TCC.
Second thing, Zichao can't seem to find us at all. I told him go ask any passerby where the RIVER is, but I think he paiseh don't dare. Then esther's hair she permed until like maggie mee! V v curly! I can't get used to it. One word..weird..Okay, I shan't say anything bad abt the hair. Must ji diao de.
Then when Zichao came, he was in Air Force uniform. Okay still abit decent. But come clarke quay wear until like tt is ahem ahem. Then came the third worst thing, Timo came in the army camou green uniform. 3 gals walking with 2 guys just out of army is damn weird!What a sight to behold.
After we settle at TCC, Wanlin (the b'day gal) ordered this curry chicken fillet thing. It's v horrible. Tastes like something you can make at home. At least the one I ordered, although the name's ordinary, it tasted nicer than hers! Esther's grilled dory was the best lol. In the end, wanlin went around koping everyone else's food.
Then we went walking around, taking photos at the water fountain. But the photos are too blurry le. We even took photo with this Indian lady, whose husband was taking OUR photo before that. She's v enthu, very cute de.
Then we finally settled at Häagen-Dazs for dessert. Wanlin wanted the chocolate fordue, because she wanted to eat FRUITS! but nobody else wants. Haha, who says the birthday gal has the right to choose. And her reasoning is lan can. Paiseh lol woman. In the end, (after 15mins) we FINALLY ordered. 2 of the same dessert. -__-" We can order 6 flavors for each "flowerplate", as I called it. So we have 12 flavors all tgt.

Stong Part III
Dinner was prepared by our dearest chef, Serene Lim. I was her assistant, like free one. Always being ordered around.... -_-" But the rice I cooked is nice k! The pineapple rice v nice! But the second batch of rice sux. Any o' how, all of us are damn full afterwards. We gave alot to the other groups lol.
At night, we played that tookie tookie game that I sux totally. In the end, me & Jo had to do this forfeit. We danced the banana dance. Dunno why, that woman very entertained. Then we played the animal game. That one I zai, not even one chou can! Shemun & Yongtze had to forfeit, dance this sexy dance. Hahah. Damn farnie.
After all the fun & what not, it was like damn late again. Serene & I went for LS-ing in the wild. Just behind the lao jiaos group tentage. Haha. Then sleeping time! It was a disaster. I was squashed between a v big elephant & the tent wall. Either I sleep straight or I can turn to smell the tent. Wonderful. And I cant move the obstacle beside me. Still sleeping curled up somemore! In between her & Jo still got one big space lol!
Worst thing, I was wearing FBT to sleep. Damn cold! And I can't curled up, so my legs damn cool. In the middle of the night, at 0200 I finally decided to get my only dry shirt out and cover my legs. But I had to make my way over the obstacle and wa from my bag. I think I woke everyone up! Then when I finally got to sleep, I was woke up by that Serene Lim. "Hey time to watch sunrise liao." It was 0630 already.
That woman dun dare to wake people one...have to wait for 40 mins den dare to wake me up. -_-" Then make me wake everyone else up, see who wanna watch sunrise. Shemun, Farah & the guys came along. But the sunrise is pathetic! Only got 3 streaks. But the view is v v nice. Cos it's v v steep. And you get a clear view of the village below. Go see photos if you wan.
Then we had v nice breakfast. Madeshift Ramily Burger, by the chef herself again. I was like free de again. After breakfast, we went up to another 2 waterfalls. One waterfall had a pothole where your whole body will get submerged in water once the guide let go of you. But you can reach the bottom & push yourself up. At the same place, there's a waterfall, you can hide behind the water & still breathe. But the place is very limited. It feel very claustrophobic the first time I tried. But I stayed there for like 5 minutes then it's alright.
The next waterfall we went to, there's a natural pool with jacuzzi. Damn shiok, but damn cold! Then we went back to Baha camp, pack up & left. The way down seems easy this time surprisingly. I suddenly enlightened how to walk along muddy paths le. Small steps. But Jo was in front of me, and her shoes are very slippery. I was so scared for her can. Then behind me the 2 non-ODAC members also looked unsteady. Damn scared for them. Dunno y, on the way down, I was damn lethargic. Can't seem to be interested in anything at all.
I only remember at one part, stupid serene teach me to slide down, so I use my bum slide down den tio abrasion! Thank you sia. I didn't fall until at the last part, at the man-made steps den I fall. Too excited that I'm reaching the base liao. Wah kao... damn malu can.
Den we finally got to bath outside, using the hose. Clean & clear finally. Then we went back Dabong to wait for 2300 train. OMG....We ended up going to the marketplace & playground to entertain ourselves. At the playground, Mike lose a bet with Serene, so he had to chase a chicken. Damn comical the scene, this malay boy chasing after the chickens. Then we went to the playground anyhow play play. Then got back to "restaurant" play bridge.
On the train ride back, we went to the not-so-hot canteen to eat & talk. Then walked back to our beds, where we talked about ghosts, animal sex (chye kiat started it de) and bla bla. Then we walked back to the canteen when it's getting too late to continue talking. About ODAC people, kb-ing abt them bla bla...The canteen crew v irritated by us, esp by Chye Kiat, cos he talks very loudly. By 4 I was too tired liao...I just tuned off. I was so happy when we finally walked back to our beds to slp!
Aft tt we reached Singapore, then nothing much le. That's all for 4 days. Fun? Yesh. Tiring? YESH!

Stong Part II
We reached Dabong @ 0630. After breakfast, we went for caving. Smart me forgot to change out of my nice berms, so I ended up dirtying my only pair of non-FBT shorts. Caving was dark lol! Der...And we had to leopard crawl at this part, through a hole. I so scared I will ganna stuck can! And when you crawled through it, there's muddy water underneath you. Confirm will get dirty.
After exploring 3 caves, *I forgot the names* we went back to Dabong where we had our lunch at the restaurant beside the station. *altho it's technically not considered restaurant* Then I got my first leech bite. KAOZ. At the restaurant can. I don't think I brought back from caving leh. Can't feel anything AT ALL. When I feel it, it's like damn big liao. I lost alot of blood can!
Then we finally board the van to drive us to the start point. I suddenly don't feel like going up le. Hah. The first part is a killer. Grace was right. I wanted to climb & curse & swear at the same time. It's all steps steps steps & steps. Vertical steps that kind. As if my thighs ain't big enough already.
Then we came to this river crossing. Technically we climbed up the rocks. And one thing I hate now is the rocks. Cos my sandals no grip one! Dry land trekkin I can liao. But river crossing & rocks I still hate. Almost fell to my death a few times. Luckily there was a hand to grab. The trek up is sian sian. They kept saying we are reaching soon, but after 1/2 hr of saying it, we're still not near to Baha Camp. -_-"
When we finally reached campsite, hoho! we faster pitch up den went to play the slides le! The slide is a natural slide made entirely out of smooth rocks. And wanlin, yes, there are smooth rocks de! We had to climb this rope to get up there, and I was so afraid the guide supporting up there will drop down lolz. When we got on top, it's like DAMN vertical. You slip then you can fall liao. But you will fall into the shallow side & hit your brain can!
I did my first try brainlessly. I almost miss the ledge you're supposed to sit on to slide down. Then the guide had to pull me back. So langbei. The first time I slide down, I feel like dying liao. But I just heck, don't think. Then for that few seconds just pray! By the time I know it, I'm in the water, and I can feel the bottom can.
But after that ledge I was in deep water liao. Then I was like SHIT. I can't trap water. *panic panic* Technically I can swim but I can't trap water lol. Then the others all dun care me. So sad...I was drinking water liao...so I struggle struggle swim to the rock there. Later weisi told me he saw me swimming wah, so he didn't bother to save me. I was drinking water lol mister!
I didn't want to go for second try initially. Until that stupid Serene la me. Say wah she dun go if I don't go. That woman purposely de. Yongtze pei-ing her wah. All alright until it's Grace's turn. She ham going down. so she was stuck at the ledge there for 1hr. She make Gary & Serene go first, then we refused to go until she go first. After 15 mins, Farah came up to persuade her. Grace's bf, Zhen Han, was encouraging her from below. Actually everyone was encouraging her.
Even the guide helping us at the slide gave up after 45 mins. he went past us to take a puff. Then the other guide even throw down the rope when Grace wanted to go down the way she came up. Me, Weisi, Mike & Laiyi ended up playing games up there, while waiting in queue. See photo to see how dangerous we are there. 1hr up there. Legs also tired liao. Then Zhen han climbed up barehands. So dangerous can. Grace was shouting for him not to come up. We are shouting for Zhen Han not to come up. But he's still coming up & sliding at parts. So scary.
But he finally got up. And he told us to go ahead first. You see, I was alright one lol. See Grace so cham, I started hamming also. I had to release some pent-up ham-ness, so I shouted for Chye Kiat to stay at the deep part to save me, just in case. Haha. But actually I'm alright de. This time when I went down, I can feel the ledge totally below my feet. The water level apparently went down during the 1hr. By the time all slid down (except Grace), we decided to go back and cook dinner.

Stong (17th - 20th June) Part 1
Stong was fun!! I wanted to write a long entry. But that CHANG WAN LIN complained I always write too long, so I shall cut short as much as possible.
Some background info for those who don't know where Stong is. Stong is the highest waterfall in Peninsula Malaysia, located in Kelantan near the village Dabong. We took a 11hr overnight train ride there! *faintz*
To add on to the misery, our trip leader Gary (pres of ODAC also) booked only the upper deck spaces (to save cost), so we are all cramped at the top. So it's very difficult to have a nice talk cock session. So Farah & Shemun suggested playing this tootie tootie game on our beds. And I SUCK totally. I can't remember the weird sounds anyhow...I swear I would nv play it again lol!
After awhile, everyone got tired & went to sleep. So only left Shemun, me & Serene having a talk cock session. I forgot what we're talkin abt before that, but soon it deviated to our past relationships. Shemun very opened de, will tell us alot of of her stuff. And I realized know some of them (in name only)! *Esther, shemun's ur squad mate right??*

irritatin....
I'm officially rejected. Dammit. The mother of my chinese tutee just smsed me to say she wanted a more consistent tutor. So that was the end of my first chinese tuition. After one lesson.
So lose face can! After one lesson of I dunno whether I'm teaching chinese or english, she sacked me! It's not entirely like I can't speak chinese or is potato lol...when I speak chinese, the boy like don't understand me can! So I resorted to speaking in english. If cannot take it, tell me lah... SACK ME! kao....

Every day is like a field trip.
Lots of things to do. Lots of friends I'm meeting. New ones. Old ones. And to speak the truth, I'm losing track of things. Lemme try to recall.
Sunday, ODAC organized ATC (Adventure Trail Challenge) at Pasir Ris area. We were supposed to meet at 0650. A most unearthly hour! But whatever, most of the FOOT people are still assigned to the IKEA Field. Why? I have no idea. Did we choose it ourselves? I think we did. Hah. Ah Meng asked like practically the whole Sports Club to come help. Waisan came too.
Serene was I/C of our station. So expected, there was like absolutely no discipline there whatsoever. We were going IKEA to buy food and what not. Turned out the IKEA Field is this wulu-fied & damn hot place. My neck was sunburnt can!
We had this ski game there, which I tried out with Yi Hui. We were transporting the 4-men plank back so we decided to try. But I think we looked damn stupid. Cos we are supposed to walk on these planks that are tied with ropes. Our feet cant touch the floor, but we must pull the ropes to lift the planks. It was chaotic but fun.
That station had Kaileng, Weihan, Mike, Joyce, Shu Yi, Yi Hui & Ben etc. *See all the fun people* It was damn fun cos we were niaoing each other, trying to fix the horrible tilted tent & what not under the hot sun. Weihan & Serene is a potent combination lol. Their niao gong is superb. I see the both of them I can die luffing. It was fun but tiring though.
After the event, I had to wait terribly long for Weihan, Serene, Kaileng & Mike lol. Don't know what they're up to. I talked to alot of people while waitin. Then Kaileng got her menses, so she cramps until cry lol. Scared dao me. I was like HUH?! Do what? Luckily after a while, she recovered le. But anyway, we went to eat Sakae, which was filling and full of niao-ing sessions again. Then we planned for Tuesday little india outing.
Monday I had to rush down to NTU to pack the ODAC flyers into the big envelopes. Yong Han chopped the first table cos he was damn early. But it turned out the printer gave us fewer than promised number of flyers. So we packed 500 less envelopes. Sports camp's table was just beside ours. In the end, I wind up talking to Kenneth Tan, Sheryl & Waisan lol.
After a late lunch @ the quad, I rode Kaileng's bike to City Harvest area to pump the tyres. The bike is a very seh one & costs alot. V shiok to ride, but not alone. Anyway the uncle said the bike's inner tubing got some problems. But since it's not my bike, I can't do anything.
In the evening, we started filming the last bits of the CS FOC Fright Night Video. Turned out I mistook Faiz for another person the whole while. He is a very funny actor, always over-acting on purpose. But a good actor nevertheless. We finally finished filming.
At night, I was "hall-alone". But I ended up talking crap late into the night in the Hall's computer lab. I went back to the room when everyone cleared the computer lab and I was left there alone.
Tuesday morning, Kairu and I went back to CS to capture the video & return the camera. Turned out the technician remembered me, and let us off the hook. We got to capture it into a computer @ multimedia lab. I hate editing all over again. That day, I only finished 20 secs of editing. By the time I'm done, I was late for little India outin.
I was the one calling for outin & turned out I was late. I finally meet the ODAC FOOT people at tekka market. Anyway FOOT had a SP Night & the theme is Bollywood, so we had to shop for costumes, you see. Once again, we've got Serene, Kaileng, Mike & Weihan. This time we have Huimin, Joyce, Yong Han & Guoqiang. I kept niao-ing Serene & Guoqiang just for the fun of it.
When the girls finally got the saris, and the guys their tops, it was like after 4 hours! It's no feat k. We walked all the way to mustafa & back. Then Weihan, me, Serene & Mike went to watch Zodiac @ Cathay. Before that we see a very funny episode, involving Yong Han. I shan't say more here, in case anybody sees it. To do with J.
In any case, Zodiac was nice although I don't think it deserves 4 1/2 stars. Like Weihan said, "Why the hell did we watch a movie without an ending?!". Weihan initially wanted to watch Hula Girls, but Serene & I insisted Zodiac. At the end of it, both of us still find the movie great, but draggy. The story spans over 33 years?!? I think the movie is abit too sadist & creepy, Serene found it cool. @.@
Wednesday we went trekking @ Pelepah again. I didn't slip as frequent as last time. I only fell full-fleighed once lol. But it's directly in front of Weisi & Renjian. MALU! Anyhow, we managed to reach the top campsite, which was beautiful. It was made of soft white sand. But it's a clearing so it's terribly lightning prone. Too bad we can't use this campsite for the actual camp. But we can use for seniors camp...woahho!
Any o' how, this trip was fun because of the company. Serene is being her self as usual. Always ganna niaoed. Always niao-ing me. I don't know when did we become so close leh. It's like we only really talk during Pumpfest, which I only went 2 out of 3 days only. We never really clicked during Desaru Trip. We don't even talk before that. The only time I can think of is Pumpfest lol.
After that was night bike lol. There are others there also ar, but we have terribly fun niao-ing session on the way out of the quarry. Kaileng sounded damn pissed cos we were so noisy. Maybe it was then we really clicked. After that was ATC & you know what follows.
Come to think of it, very rarely can I click so well with a senior, cos I always have this hierarchical thing inside me. And it's weird why we suddenly click so well, although we know each other some time back. It's like suddenly v gam. I think everyone very shocked how come we suddenly so gam.
It reminds me of Wan Lin & me. From the start jiu gam liao. Kind of scary, cos both of them at first very nian. I very resistant to this kind one. Although Serene is alot like Wanlin, they are different in many ways also. In a BIG way. But anyhow, she's very fun to be around with. It's just very weird, how much you can know about someone in such a short time. Anyway, Serene is suddenly going to Stong with Weisi, Mike & me. That means I'm going to see her everyday from Saturday onwards, till wed...*Shake head*

So long since I last blogged. Can't really find the motivation and the inspiration to blog nowadays. Okay lah, just an update of what I've been doing.
Busy with ODAC FOC. Because have to plan the programme then go for lots of recces (night bike n overseas). Tonight got night bike recce (but it's raining cats n dogs now, *pray pray*). Gone for one overseas site recce. It's a waterfall trek, v shiok. Been there for last year's camp, but it's so different now. That day we went, there were so many trees fallen. The route like changed every 2 days. SIAO! And the route is impossible to remember lol seriously!
I keep slipping n fallin la... WTH. So malu can. I only girl somemore. All the guys went thru army one can! At least fall 4 times. 1 times i slip on the algae and into the damn water. like sit some slide and into the pool like tt. Then I was second last. So stupid mike behind me saw and luff until like wah! -_-" The water level went up to the waist level lah... If rain somemore i think we can swim there liao...WONDERFUL. That recce we went, we saw this three-paw-print s on the ground. It cannot be wild boar or wah, someone saw maybe tiger. so we were like *panic panic*. Walk tgt hor. Thank goodness nv see any stripes.
Den must help out in ODAC other events like the recently-over Pumpfest. Pumpfest I got one night duty. Suppose we ba ka hao can play mahjong overnight. I even brought the mj set. Turned out we painted the rockwall. Sianz. Went to help out the day before n yesterday. What I kept doing was isolating the climbers. Don't let them see the walls routes. Most of the time, I was with Serene. She v farnie, v cocks de. All I can say is it's damn fun to be around her.
Now schedule 排的满满的。偶尔 meet up friends. 唱唱 k. Go on trips. Climb some mountains. Trip n fall, 还被人家 luff @ -_-" okay lah. 有时候被 SPO (my ODAC committee head) irritate 一下，想杀人。发泄完了就没事了。Actually ODAC 有点像以前的 VNR 了。我也不懂我是不是要 ODAC 变成另一个 VNR.
But ODAC de culture n VNR's is SO different. ODAC de people siao siao one. Seriously siao. Got this guy, CK, his normal talking voice can cover my shouting voice. And he likes to la people play this pi-ka-chu game. You have to point to pi (nose), ka (leg), chu (hand). Think hokkien then u know. Then you have to do this rhyme very quickly. Seriously, it's very funny to watch them play. But damn 丢脸 to be around them！He even pulled the normally very serious president to do with him lol....hahah... hopes he don't see my blog..if nt i die.
Den my fellow programmer got this woman. I always call her woman. KL is like the ultimate f-machine...I mean in the sense she like to sprout the F word k.. She's so like CK cos they always like to play those malu games in front of everybody. Attract attention, but damn malu when they start playing at merlion, in front of all the tourists.
But this is ODAC. That's the spirit. Still dunno alot of people now, because ODAC got 3 subcomms. But getting to know ppl le. Don't know how long i will stay around ODAC, but i'll have fun while it lasts.
