Desaru Trip
(15th - 17th June '07)
3D2N NTU ODAC Trip... Very FUN!!!!
Day 1:
Took a bumboat from Changi to Tanjong Penggerang
It was drizzling outside. Very gloomy weather.
But I had a nice catch-up session with Susanti

We waited for very long for Mak to move away from the end of the boat, before we can take this shot.

Lunch @ Penggerang Town
After 2 hours of cycling, we reached town!
Very cheap lunch...only RM12 for prawns, deer meat, kangkong etc. We got lotsa food remains.

The main highlight of the trip was I was terribly sunburnt. To the extent, I suspect I could get third degree burns. By Day 3, everyone saw my burns. They even seemed rather overwhelmed by it.

Nearing the end
The end is full of hilly slopes. We finally made it when we reached Pulai Resort @ 1900.
Then we had our buffet dinner in the carpark infested with mosquitoes & a weird breed of flies.

Day 2: At the petting farm
After lunch, we didn't get to play go-kart (RM100 for 1 hr; 2 karts only siao!), so we went by the petting zoo.

So we went swimming in the pool in our clothes.
Took alot of photos (with kash).
Then we played beach volley & captain's ball.
But Kairu, Howard & some others injured their legs 'cos the sand is rough & dirty!

Dinner is at this restaurant called the 幸运酒楼 something. We had chilli crabs that waisan complained it's not spicy enough & crayfishes that I insisted were lobsters!
On the way back the van was speeding @ very high speed. Scary! But we got back in one piece. There are alot of stars along the way 'cos it's so dark there.

Day 2 Nite: In chalet room

Lunch
Joyce got into an accident & was sent to the clinic in town for treatment.
It was a sad episode but still we learn something.
We set off @ 0900, reach jetty @ ard 1530. V fast compared to Day 1.

Everyone's quite shagged on day 3 cos we started with the slopes (can kill) then finished off with the flat land.
